NEWS DETAIL

Hello baseball fans, the long-awaited MLB The Show 25 is finally here. Although the full game will not be released until March 18, 2025, for players who have already pre-ordered Digital Deluxe Edition, you can actually experience the game on March 14!
So this opportunity must not be missed, how can we seize these 4 days of early access time and build the best team before others? Here we discuss what you should do first when you enter MLB 25. Let’s take a look!
1. Following The Tutorial
This year, San Diego Studio seems to have finally heard the voice of players, providing players with a lot of new Legends and generous rewards just by playing the game. So there is no doubt that this year will be a big year.
However, if you want to master the technology, the first thing they force you to do is the tutorial. But as always, the tutorial of MLB 25 is boring, just like the tutorials of other years. They’ll show you the basics, but to avoid any minor changes, it’s recommended that you follow the tutorial to get familiar with the game first.
2. Using Diamond Packs Correctly
And then, let’s tell you another thing you should do next. If you pre-order Digital Deluxe Edition, in addition to getting early access to the game, you’ll also get a few bonus packs. These are pretty average, with only two of the Diamond Packs being worth noting, one being 20th Anniversary Choice Pack and the other being Diamond Legend Flashback Pack.
Personally, I think the best card in 20th Anniversary Choice Pack is Ted Williams, who is a brand new Legend and one of the best wings in Diamond Dynasty history, and his offensive attributes are very strong. However, be aware that he’s not a very good defender, so just hope no one hits him in left field. For Legend Flashback Pack, there are a few good choices here, but in my opinion no one is better than Billy Wagner, who is one of the best relief pitchers you can get right away in the game.
Once you enter Early Access, you need to start thinking about how to deploy your dream team, so please think carefully about how to use these two Diamond Packs, which may be the biggest opportunity to change the development of your team!
3. Playing Pipeline Program
Next, the first thing you should do in Diamond Dynasty is Pipeline Program. Because you will get a lot of glorious rewards by playing this program. It goes without saying that the basic MLB The Show 25 Stubs rewards are not to mention, and the most important thing is that some top Legends here may fill the gaps in your team. For example, this 87 overall Walker Jenkins is probably one of the best outfielders you can get immediately at launch.
4. Pipeline Series Collection
Since we mentioned Pipeline Program, we have to mention another important part of MLB 25, Pipeline Series Collection, which allows you to get the brand new 88 Roki Sasaki to join Major League Baseball. Although you may have used his World Baseball Classic card in MLB 23, I believe his performance this year will definitely make you shine.
You can earn a ton of cards in Pipeline Series program, so if you want to make sure your initial team gets off to a good start, investing more time in Pipeline Series Collection will be well worth the reward.
That’s it for the first things we do when we jump into early access to MLB The Show 25. Do you have any plans or ideas? Share them. See you next time!
