MLB The Show 25 aims to present an up-to-date MLB simulation, constantly adding, removing or transferring new players, while allowing players to experience the history of the game over the years and learn about many of the top players who have stood on the field.

Players can put players who have never met on the same field to compete in a game. MLB 25 has confirmed more than 20 new Legends before release. In addition to the initial three new Legends Manny Ramirez, Roger Clemens, and James “Cool Papa” Bell, MLB revealed in the trailer that new Legends, such as Ted Williams of the Sox, will also come to the field of MLB 25. It is said that MLB 25 will have more than 200 Legends.

Who Are All Legends In MLB The Show 25?

New Legends

In MLB The Show game, Legends are retired players who have received praise in the baseball world. Among them are Babe Ruth, Jackie Robinson, Willie Mays, and many more. They are some of the most powerful players you can get in the game, and can even compete with modern teams. It might be a good idea to use MLB The Show 25 Stubs to build Legends team to compete against modern teams.

Manny Ramirez, Roger Clemens, and James “Cool Papa” Bell will be included in the game at launch, and will be available to all owners of the game without having to unlock additional DLC. The full list of new Legends announced by MLB The Show 25 is as follows:

  • Manny Ramirez
  • Roger Clemens
  • James “Cool Papa” Bell
  • Jason Kipnis
  • Lance Berkman
  • Bobby Abreu
  • Jason Varitek
  • Clay Buchholz
  • Gil Hodges
  • Darren O’Day
  • Hank Greenburg

Ted Williams is one of the best hitters in baseball history, and he almost always played for Boston Red Sox. Ted Williams has won two American League MVPs, six batting titles, and two Triple Crowns. He and Rogers Hornsby are the only two hitters in history to have achieved two Triple Crown seasons.

Ted Williams’ career was interrupted by World War II and Korean War, forcing him to miss four and a half years of his prime. But his statistics on the field have always been excellent. He announced his retirement in 1960, and his last at-bat in his career ended with a home run.

Between 1993 and 2000, Manny Ramirez hit 236 home runs and 804 RBIs in 967 games with Cleveland Indians. The 165 RBIs he got in 1999 were also career highs, and he also had a .333 batting average, 44 home runs and a career-high 131 runs scored. But his time with Boston Red Sox was the highlight of his career.

William Roger Clemens’ nickname is “The Rocket”. He was an MLB pitcher active from the 1980s to the 2000s and is considered one of the greatest pitchers of all time. He is the major league pitcher with the most Cy Young Awards in history, winning a total of seven trophies. Clemens grew up with Boston Red Sox and played for Red Sox for thirteen seasons.

James “Cool Papa” Bell is considered one of the fastest baseball players ever seen from 1922 to 1946. He joined St. Louis Stars of Negro National League (NNL) as a pitcher in 1922, but eventually switched to center field permanently on the advice of his manager. James won two World Series titles and was an eight-time All-Star. He ranks 66th on the list of the greatest baseball players ever.
